Approaching Emma from the other side of the room, Neal let an easy smile slip across his face. She’d been working for several days straight and seemed incredibly tense—-and he had just the thing to help her relax a little. His hands found her shoulders, fingers tenderly caressing the skin there before they began to apply pressure, circle-wise, massaging muscles that had clearly been hardened by stress.
“How ‘bout we run you a bath and I help you relax a lil’?”
His tone of voice was calm, deep as if to accompany the motion made by his hands, not at all implying anything improper—-or was he? At least his proposal didn’t seem indecent by the way he had voiced it, but there was something alluring about his tone of voice…
